ー Hello, German! We are happy to see you on the pages of Tune in Mag! How are you? What this spring brings to you ー in personal and professional life?
ー Hello, everything is going just fine. I am fully loaded with music for this spring. On a personal level, I am really happy to have a healthy and happy family.
Hello, everything is going just fine. I am fully loaded with music for this spring. On a personal level, I am really happy to have a healthy and happy family.
ー Reflecting on your journey from Málaga to the world stage, and your connection from 80s and 90s pop and hip-hop to today\’s style of music, how have your main compositional- and production-challenges changed over time? How do you think your southern Spanish roots have influenced your musical evolution?
ー As a producer with a passion for learning and innovation, I never allow myself to be confined to just one genre, even though this choice may shape certain aspects of my career. That\’s why I\’ve always been drawn to blending electronic music with the sounds that inspired me in my youth. My challenge in production lies in deepening my understanding of harmony and synthesis. Undoubtedly, my hispanic – flamenco roots have had a significant impact, which is evident in my work\’s harmony and groove.
ー Your releases \”Elixir\” (in collaboration with Yamil) and \”Soruba\” from the album Nemesis, Vol. 1 on Manitox showcase your distinct sound. Can you share the creative process behind these tracks, what makes them stand out in your discography?
ー The creative process with Yamil is always very smooth. In the case of \’Elixir,\’ we decided that Yamil would handle the rhythmic part to add his signature Deep touch, while I took care of the musical aspect to ensure the track embodied both elements, making it more interesting and special. That\’s exactly what we were aiming for with Manitox. We live in the constant research of that distinctive sound.
ー How\’s everything going with your label Manitox? What\’s your vision for the label, and how do you curate artists and tracks for it? What are you most proud of with the label so far?
ー The label is getting better and better, receiving increasing support from platforms like Beatport and Spotify. I strive to discover artists who have a unique sound and music that breaks established patterns. I\’m proud to see things gradually unfolding as we hoped, with emerging artists like Thimble, Yamil, or Djolee, among others, collaborating with great music. I also have some very talented artists on my personal radar whose work I\’m really enjoying, including Adam Ten, Muyla, Emanuel Satie, and Solique.
ー As an artist constantly under the spotlight, how do you stay grounded, and what values guide you both in your career and personal life?
ー What keeps me steadfast is perseverance, never losing faith in what I\’m doing despite being in such a fluctuating industry. The values I hold dear in my life include striving to be humble and grateful to everyone, and treating people with the kindness and respect I desire for myself.
ー Having played across five continents, can you share a memorable moment from your tours that has deeply impacted your approach to music?
ー I\’ve had memorable moments in every place I\’ve visited, but if I had to choose three standout experiences, I recall some very special ones in countries like Argentina, Brazil, and Thailand. These places have inspired me to become a better person and artist. I love traveling the world and learning from the musical cultures of other countries. Without a doubt, Asian culture has had a significant impact and influence on my career.
ー With your rich experience in the music industry, what advice would you give to up-and-coming producers and artists looking to carve out their niche?
ー First, I would tell them not to neglect social media. Nowadays, it\’s more important than I would like, much to my dismay, but I can\’t help being old school. But above all, focus on your music, on creating and finding your own sound. That is undoubtedly what has led me to where I am today. Another piece of advice is to take risks in your sets. Don\’t be complacent!
ー Tell some interesting facts about yourself we have never heard.

ー Great interview! Happy to share it with you.
ー What are your plans for this year? What can your fans expect in the near future?
ー I have started the year working hard with several releases on Big labels such as Sol Selectas. This year is going to be a game changer for me. I have surrounded myself with a young management team full of fresh air Good Life Management team. Sergio, my manager is always looking after new ways to generate an impact on the industry and bringing new thing to the table, with a wide perspective of the music industry. I really needed to work with someone who would be actively searching opportunities for me. Not a management team that would only reply to the email, thats also a big recommendation for youngsters when looking for a manager. Always rely on someone who is actively searching to make you the best.
ー Thank you for the interview! We look forward to the new releases from you!
